12/09:
- The course portfolios are available
for you to pick up in my office.
In each folder, I also attached a note summarizing the grades I have
on my record (including midterm, portfolio, and homework). Please check
the numbers to make sure they are correct.
11/21:
- Classes after the Thanksgiving break are cancelled.
- You may see Richard Dutton to pick up the graded HW10 as early as Monday,
11/28.
- The course portfolio is due by noon on Friday, December 2 in Richard's
office or mailbox.
It should contain homework assignments 1-10 (original copies graded
by Richard and the corrected copies) and the three summaries you wrote
throughout the semester. These materials should be organized neatly in a
folder.
- HW11 is due on Friday, 12/02, as well. You should submit it with your
portfolio to Richard at the same time.
- HW 11 and the course portfolio will be graded and ready to pick up
as early as Friday, 12/09. Contact Richard to arrange pick-up.

08/24:
- A short summary of LaTeX (version 2e) is now available on the Assignments
page. It is suggested that in the next few days you start to learn (1) how to
draw figures with xfig and save the figures in .eps format, and (2)
how to produce mathematical fomulae in LaTeX.

- Our class will meet in Morton 203. This change is effective from
