Grading

Required Work:

Project (requires programming): 40% of the grade

In class presentation: 30% of the grade

Active participation in class: 10% of the grade

Take home final exam: 20% of the grade

The final numeric grade will be mapped into a letter grade “on a curve.” Generally, 90 and above is an A; 80 to 89 is a B, etc., however if necessary, a downward adjustment may take place.
