CS 412 Home Schedule Grading Announcements

 

  1. Sep. 6: First lab has been posted to the Schedule page.
  2. Sep 6: There will be a short Quiz on Tue, Sep 11 on (mostly) the Introduction and HTML.
  3. Sep 11: Project 1 has been posted. Due in 1.5 weeks.
  4. Sep 18: 2nd lab is posted.
  5. Quiz on Thu, Sep 20 on Database usage and Forms.
  6. Report is postponed until Tue, Sep 25.
  7. In Perl-Compatible-Regular-Expressions, character classes (such as, \d for the set of digits) works. See the program testcc.php in Lectures/patterns/; note that this cannot be done using a web browser.
  8. A code fragment directory has been created to hold various code fragments; access is limited to W&M.
  9. W&M wants to send a team to the ACM Regional Programming Contest to be held at CNU on Sat., Oct. 27. See Debbie Noonan if you want to be part of a team.
  10. Quiz Tues Oct 23 on Security Principles and their meaning.
  11. Passwords and rights reset for all to their individual databases.
  12. Nov. 15: the final 2 classes will be:
    1. Tue, Nov 27: Ajax
    2. Tue, Dec 4: final exam review
