I am a Visiting Assistant Professor of Computer Science and joined the Faculty of the College of William and Mary in the Fall 2013. My PhD at the University of Virginia concentrated on a continuous monitoring home monitoring system for healthcare applications called Empath. I have broad technical interests including ubiquitous computing, mobile applications, speech processing, machine learning, and computer graphics.
Office hours: Monday and Tuesday 1 PM - 3PM
Outside of technology, I am interested in music (theory, singing, and piano), visual arts (painting and drawing), dance (swing), capoeira, yoga, psychology, history, travel, and cuisine.
