The minutes for the faculty meeting held on August 31, 2009 were approved.

Announcements

• Hiring: We are authorized to fill one tenure-track position this year.
• Budget: The budget for next year will be at least as bad as this year. Cuts will continue. Tuition may increase substantially.
• Park Graduate Award: Three students have been nominated. Nomination letters will be circulated before voting.
