there's nothing and i'm sad

11/9/2025 update: It's goten worse. I've had to completely throw out my storyboard because the rigid bodies refused to cooperate (what I was trying to do turned out to be physically impossible). I'm sorry. I'll try talking with the professor tomorrow, I don't know what to do.

11/10/2025 update: here are some physics that work. Need to add shading, lights, and camera angles.

11/11/2025 update: shading and lights are here. I'm having difficulty rendering it for some reason.

Also, here's a link to a texture that I used: https://freepbr.com/product/modern-brick1/

The video isn't here, but it's close! Hmm... the renders are coming out really dark, though. I guess I don't have time to fix it. It didn't look like that in the render view, that's for sure.

Speaking of time, The hardware renderer (the fastest renderer) (I don't know if arnold would be faster but it's broken on my computer for some reason) makes the shadows look like that regardless of what settings I use. Apparently it's my GPU. I can't change it or it looks even worse.

I can't figure out how to draw a storyboard, sorry! (Yes, this is genuinely a problem that I have, I know it sounds silly, but it's true. I'm not sure where to even begin, the storyboard that I threw out 2 days ago was imaginary, by the way. Like it was there, but the entire thing was confined to my brain)

I don't know if I will have time to render out images of the 5 objects, so here is the list of the objects:

Final update! 11/12/2025 but midnight

There it is. All it cost was my dinner, my sleep, and my sanity.

Like literally I was randomly like passing out from stress while working on this? Or something like that? Like I was still conscious but like couldn't move my body unless it was an emergency. Weird.
