Alma Riska

Alma Riska is currently a Research Staff Member at Seagate Research Center in Pittsburgh, PA.She completed her PhD at the Computer Science Department of the College of William & Mary in December 2002. In her PhD, She extended and developed a new aggregation-based methodology, called ETAQA, that efficiently solves Markov processes of M/G/1 and QBD type. She used these type of processes to model and analyze clustered Web servers.

Qi Zhang

Qi Zhang is working in the Microsoft Windows Server Performance Team as a Research Engineer. She got her Ph.D degree from Department of Computer Science at College of William and Mary in december 2006. Her advisor is Evgenia Smirni. Before joining the college of William and Mary, she received her MS degree from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2001 and her BS degree from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in 1998, both in computer science.

Eddy Z. Zhang
