Call for Industrial Experience Reports

Besides technical papers, WCRE foresees the submission of industrial experience  reports. The aim is to solicit discussion and encourage collaboration between researchers and practitioners.

Expected contributions may be:

  • case studies describing the application of existing reverse engineering/reengineering techniques or
  • experience reports of lessons learned during a complex reverse engineering/reengineering project.
  • position papers (from industrial point of view) on software analysis, visualization and refactoring tools/techniques needed for successfull option in industry.

Both reports on successful stories and failure stories are welcome.

Industrial track papers must adhere to the same format of regular papers, i.e., IEEE style. A typical paper is 4 pages in length.  You can find details about the IEEE style, as well as Latex Macros and MSWord format, in the IEEE CS Press ftp site.
